I requested INFO package:

E-mailed Gerry and requested this because the transfer agent wasn't sending me anything.  I received his reply that the package was going out.  I never received anything.  If you do not employ an international firm to handle I.R> then you are indeed wasting time and money which was the case here where one individual was operating out of his bedroom it seemed somewhere from some distant locale out west.  Do it right or don't do it at all.

No need for information packages anymore, that is so yesterday. The information you as an investor may need is all available on this site or yahoo finance or www.sedar.com. Save the trees and do a search. Re using a big IR firm, that is also a waste of money unless you are a large corporation or you are a speculative gold or oil play that just wants to pump a stock with your bs. I know of many ...more

Wormbuster: Quite the contrary. Finally we have in the RH members, board members who are stakeholders, have a background of success and want ATQ to succeed. They are not fee and option collectors content to go up and down with the tides. I expect that they will start to scrutinize all past decisions, turning over the rocks as it were. I think best practices for the benefit of the company will be ...more

Jack, re location of CEO, the answer surely is "that depends". There are lots of factors, including the Board's perception of the talent of the CEO relative to others, experience, where he must fly (especially given the U.S. west coast manufacturing facility but also location of customers), how often he flies, etc.

By your question, are you assuming - or do you have some knowledge of - a plan by the board to replace the current CEO of Adeptron? If so, how could you possibly know that? If you don't, is your intent to create a rumour that will lead to false speculation about the status of the current CEO?

Springwind88. If you re-read the question, perhaps with the help of a dictionary, you will discern that it was general in nature and applied to any public corporation over any time period.Situation: assume this is a CA/CPA exam question or a question for your Management MBA course. You are being asked to analyze the options and determine in your professional opinion what the best practice ...more

Hi Jack,I guess it would be a better use of my time to ask you to re-read your own question and ask yourself why exactly you are posting it on the BB for a company with similar attributes as the "generic" one in your question. Having said that, I will keep your question in mind in the near future to see what type of meaning we can extract from it.Spring

You do that spring because I am keeping it in mind as well. I have not yet found one board of directors of any successful company that has had a multi year travel arrangement with its ceo. It would seem that best practices dictate that the ceo to be a fully functioning ceo, is located and networks in the community where his/her head office is located.I look at the following best practices.
