I just got off the phone with Donna at the ATK office; apparently part of the delay has come from the fact that the 4pm Friday deadline that was set a few weeks ago was extended on the request of a couple companies who wanted to submit bids but required more time to get those bids in order, which I view as a positive. Shawn was hoping to have a press release out this week, but to be safe she said it would be released before the end of the month, but there is no guarantee that it will include any details from the bidding process. The financials are coming out so there will be a press release attached to that. However, she did say that she can confirm that there is a negotiation ongoing and that as soon as something is settled with regards to that there will be a press release. I told her that even a press release outlining what she had told me on the phone would be infinitely better than nothing.

Personally I think that the people lining up to sell at 4 cents are doing so because the lack of information has spooked them, not because they know any more than the rest of us do.

I've spoken with Donna quite a few times, I feel bad for her because she is getting a lot of phone calls and emails, and I could tell she was hoping Sean would send out something soon to make her job easier.

Keep in mind that it is against SEC regulations for anyone to say anything.. they all sign confidentiality agreements.  They have bids, they are in the process of hammering out a deal, keep your fingers crossed and wait...
