Blocked from trading AUN twice last week

Was anyone else blocked during the Thursday and Friday sessions last week from trading AUN?

Looks like brokerage houses were trying to protect shorts from getting wiped out in Silver stocks. 

How long can they possibly protect shorts for and why.  Is this even legal?

I was never blocked at all. Questrade and BMO. Traded call options on SLV and straight out bought First Majestic on US exchange and loaded more on AUN and bought some SQQQ on the Nasdaq. Its probably your broker
