Laura Mcintyre

To All:

Laura Mcintyre has been doing an excellent job managing the current project. But if there are multiple projects she will have to be promoted to managing the project managers. Each project should have a project manager and these would be her direct reports. So she will not be able to stay as a project manager herself, but will be managing the project managers. Who knows, maybe there will be ten projects going on at the same time.

To All: I would have preferred that Laura Mcintyre stay and grow into a Manager's Manager role. I wish someone knew the exact circumstances of her departure. She might have personal family reasons to leave. But it is difficult to imagine a better job opportunity, unless one of the oil sands majors offered her a VP role. But even then, an executive position in a future super stock ...more

Very well stated Blitzer. I am super grateful to Laura and the whole team. The reality is at some point in ones life they have to move on preferably happily and of their full choosing. Whatever the case may be here I know that everything willl work out real well and fully agree when all the dust settles people who have shares here will be extremely happy. I strongly believe all that is left will ...more

Blitzer you are correct. Laura McIntyre's position as Manager of the pilot design and start-up was not meant to be a longterm position. Her departure signals that we are beyond the start-up stage and moving into the commercialization stage which is where we want to be.  This is a good thing! Everyone wanted this to succeed, i.e. produce oil which we have done for the last 3 weeks in ...more

Also very prudent that Laura NOT "hang around" past the achievment of production. HAve seen so many times where they just stick around to cash paychecks.

To All: The issue is why would she move on if the next stage larger scale commercialization of this technology. That would mean many more sites would need supervision of the installation of this system. One would think that Laura would want the opportunity to manage the installation of this technology on many more sites. While it is true that sometimes new management with larger project ...more

It must mean the tech really doesn’t work and she thought she should get out. is that what you are saying?  People leave jobs for a whole bunch of reasons including the mentioned in the PR.
