You make a good point, they have already deployed successfully the two heating wells.

I'll add to your other point about redrilling.  I do understand why AXE bundled the DTS with the heating well at Marwayne. I believe I read before, the DTS has been used on SAGD steam wells, but first time ever with electormagnetic heating.

So, I have also wondered why AXE didn't drill a separate observatory horizontal ( 4th ) well and use it for measurement devices or DTS there and leave the heating wells solely with RFXL cable.  Obviously more money but less risk, simpler, easier maintenance,, etc.

- PULLING OUT the UNDERGROUND COMPONENTS for a COMPLETE RE-INSTALL of the HEATING ELEMENTS (including the DTS) DOESN'T REQUIRE REDRILLINBG as the BOREHOLES are STILL THERE - you ANSWERED your second comment yourself * it ALL BOILS TO MONEY {which AXE does NOT have a WHOLE LOTTA OF} * RENTING the DRILLING RIG and their OPERATORS is one of the MOST EXPENSIVE part of the RF XL project * I ...more
