So, this is interesting and encouraging for next year.

Recent article in the Calgary Herald:
Varcoe: As COP28 agrees to transition off fossil fuels, oilsands majors unveil $10B spending plans
https://calgaryherald.com/opinion/columnists/varcoe-cop28-transition-fossil-fuels-oilsands-10b-spending

Excerpt from start of article
One day after countries at the COP28 climate summit agreed to transition away from fossil fuels, two of Canada’s largest oil producers unveiled capital plans to spend more than $10 billion next year.

It would seem that a coupleof Axe's existing partners in their Marwayne pilot, have big
plans with
capital expenditures in the oilsands going forward in 2024. Would'nt it be great if Axe's RF XL tech could wind up getting a piece of some of this !?

Regardless of solvent recovery these projects will be costlier than the one axe is currently developing. It seens frustrating that there is a process right here right now on the cusp and people want to do every other thing but further develop this one. Now the key is what Geoff said he clearly states it is tough to get industry players to shift off of what they already know works to something that ...more

z123, of course we all are free to choose a glass half empty or glass half full approach. I am always of the latter kind, sure it's been a long time but, I still continue to remain positive. It would seem there is going to be a lot of action from I assume, a number of different companies starting next year. Did you notice BTW, these two statements in that Calgary Herald article?  - On ...more
