Excellent For Axe If Trudeau Doesnt Bend On Raising Carbon

The carbon cap. I was at one time empathetic to those in the oil and gas industry but when i have seen what they have been constantly doing and getting away with i cant say that empathy will be able to carry forward for that long. These guys strategically sold their alt fuel divisions which at the time i said i understand and it made sense yet i did not realize hoe much they were getting away with in Alberta and possibly Saskatchewan unacceptable. They have since done very little if anything at all to offset their carbon footprint and while i said i undetstand that people cant continue to pour undetermined amounts of monies into exoerimental tech putting in a few million here and there every now and then especially for those who divested their alt fuel division should not create any lasting hardship especially wheb those t fuel divisions were sold for 100s of mlions of dollars and over time was offsetting the carbon tax which they would be paying a fair size on and part of the reason to have done so in having the division the other being good corporate image where people would look more favorable to those who are truly looking for a better cleaner way not just flapping their lips lip servicing that they do. The actions of big players like those who we have ties to those part of the Pathway Alliance continues to prove and say otherwise.

If these guys continue to do as they are and what will not be of any surprise the company will surely look to government grants to fund what they believe they need to get the job done and quite honestly shame on our partners that is quite pathetic as they are depending on Danielle and 6 or 7 other ministers to get the job done in having Trudeau reverse his decision that takes effect on April First no fooling lol. My empathy for these big players after seeing what they have been doing and getting away with is at a very all time low. They had options and should have stuck to them regardless of the pinch. I am sorry i cant cry a river here especially when it comes to climate change.

By no means am I a Trudeau fan but this is one thing that o will definitely support any politician to get done...finding better and more effective ways to curb carbon emissions. I already gave my perspective on carbon capture it just doesnt make any sense to me when i read on it. It seems there will be a lot more stored pressure more heat being emitted and more increased risks for pipes rupturing and exploding underground. If there is less heat given off the carbon that is emitted and seqyestered not used in operations that are simutaneously producing heat and combined reditected to that but used as a stored lower heat run off than i may be more cautiously favorable but definitely not using that captured heat to continue to heat at very high intensities i think that will cause damages and eventual explosions and it may even prove costlier when better knowledge of intermittment heating cycles may be better not constantly really high heats. I think this needs to be better studied in lab settings and extrapolated from it just doesnt seem to add up to me to have already really high heat and using the run off to continue to fuel that high heat but i am a very lay person so who knows?

In any case, i fully support the increase in carbon tax but dont expect anything major in so far as this company benefitting from that via our partners who should have been here regardless. Perhaps there may be others who step up and quite likely more government funding available given the company is working hard to cut co2 and offer a cleaner solution. I am sorry but i remain extremely disappointed in our partners as what the company is seeking pales in comparison to what has been spent and gained through divesting alt fuel divisions. I hope that our partners do step up even if it seems like a money pit because at least i will feel they are actually trying not washing tgeir hands and relying on Alberta and Smuth to continue to allow them to heavily emit carbon as they have and as stated continue to that is just very shameful especially in light of more and more growing evidence of climate change we need to really tread lightly here. Having said all this i wish everyone success but of course hope they will finally step up again as they had in having this pilot testing made possible.

August 15th 2023 Suncor sold its solar and wind division for $730 million all to reposition to potentially acquire existing wells that do 0 to very little in regards to offset environmental damage. I would suspect they are using horizontal drilling which helps and allows the possibility to capture more oil as from the previous vertical drilling that left those amounts behind and was more ...more
