Baru.v - Minister of energy/mines | owner gold mine
Per the article, the recently appointed minister of energy and mines was put in place to work with the new president effective 20 Oct 2024.
Bahlil Lahadalia was a businessman in mines, who has since resigned from company positions to mitigate conflict of interest. No better person than a previous gold miner and knows what that means.
The existing government has also revoked thousands of unused permits amongst other reasons, which suggests in my opinion their wish to get economic develop going for what the permits were issued and intended for.
Local TMS should take advantage of such governmental policies to contribute to economic activity. There's more chances now on getting permitting with incoming government.
