McEwen Copper: Los Azules vs AstonBAY Nunavat

just released news Ifrom Los Azules

Exploration and Solid Delineation Results

Exploration: 1,052 m of 0.29% Cu including 480 m of 0.42% Cu (AZ22174)
Delineation: 236 m of 1.39% Cu and 0.19 g/t Au including 42 m of 2.78% Cu (AZ23191)

PS,.This is seen as fantastic news by HBM as they hit a major copper system..Looking deeper into the news we see 1,052m of payable copper at .29% per ton..

..This means that HBM at .29% cu = 5.8 pounds per ton..over 1,050 meters

..BAY, has 3 % cu = 60 pounds per ton over 1,050 meters

BAY, copper on surface ready to scope at 60 pounds per ton,.

.HBM, HAS TO MINE AT 6 POUNDS PER TON..

..BAY, HAS 54 POUNDS OF COPPER PER TON MORE THAN hbm,..SITTING ON SURFACE..

..WITHOUT PREJUDICE,..just a comparisson

ONe is a high tonnage, low mineralization porphory.  The other has high grade suerface copper pudles and is called Storm.  Chech out Aw1 HOle #10 at Storm for a more direct comparison between teh two (.44% over 2 meters)  Without prejudice - just telling yuo what yuo are actually looking at becasue thats what I do and yuo are welcome.

Schoocor,.i would like to know what you do know.. You tell us you failed as an accountant and you were once a mining ceo.and now you work full time 24/7 here on SH chanting your garbage. .I also know a bit about mining and believe you do not know much at all as you seem to google your way for information. I guess this is reason you failed as a mining ex. .The copper puddles you refer to ,hold ...more

I am just comparing porphory results at one project to porphory results at another.  You are comparing high grade, low tonnage, surface deposits at one project, to low grade high tonnage deposits at another; WHY?  Is my comparison not more meaningful? You are welcome.  Storm will not be mined in generations. Its remote, low tonnage, has no infrastructure and more important HAS NO ...more

schoor, the comparisson shows that BAY can scope up off surface 60 pounds per ton copper. HBM would have to build out a mine and then are only mining 6 pounds per tn,.. BAY, mobile mine at 60 pounds vs HBM DEEP MINE AT 6 POUNDS.. SOCHOOR,.THIS IS SIMPLE ACCOUNTANTING,..i see why you failed.. ..PS, I am familiar with BAY. I go back to when COX former CEO was still putting these claims to ...more

I was at Storm before Cox was at Aston. As I have mentioned several times, I never worked for Aston nor been paid by them. You cant wish a mineral deposit economic so we stopped exploration. I mean it really that hard to figure out who I worked for?  Read man.   There are many starnded commodity deposits; for example natural gas that si not connected to a pipe. Storm is a stranded ...more

Gravel sorters have been around since the 1920's and the northwest passage has been known for longer. It funny how sometimes new technologies dont change the calculus.  I haev never been fired from anyting in my life, and I haev ZERO animosity to Aston, their CEO, board of future; and I really dont care if yuo believe me or not. You guys are not important people and Storm is not an ...more
