Now, flush with cash and having rebuilt investor trust, the industry is turning back to growth — and going in search of copper. The deal proposed by BHP would create by far the world’s biggest copper producer, just as demand for the energy transition is predicted to soar.

BHP's intentions to buy coppper production at Anglo point to the fact that it is cheaper to buy out mines than develop new ones. This can be seen as both bullish and bearish in-so-far as ASton Bay and the storm deposit are concerned; however we must remember that storm is just an exploration play and may never ever be a mine.

Excellent news. BAY wants to get bought out in the future so it's obviously positive if there are many deals
