From Giovanni33: Exactly, you don't waste this kind of money without doing proper DD. More than most of us on here would have done. Very different to a raise where you get a bunch of free oppies and your downside is protected. This is closer to institutional investment. They benefit from it being a royalty of course, but they also take on the risk of that royalty being worthless if this does ...more

I am not surprised the market is shrugging; this was a needed financing, but it was no great news ofr either company IMHO.  If ASton Bay just sold .5% GOR for 3.4M, it does not bode well for the price of thier remaining 2% free carry NSR if convered from the 20% interest. I suspect I am not the only one seeing that. It allowed the company to get all required funds after a less than receptive ...more
