Why so few Canadians currently use medical marijuana.

The head of the Canadian Medical Association, Dr. L.H. Francescutti, could not have reached his position in society without being a pretty smart man. So, how to explain comments attributed to him like “Quackery” and “Snake oil salesman”? What strange power has influenced this smart man (dinosaur) to babble on like such a fool? Could it possibly be that he is under the hypnotic spell of big pharma? Too many opiates perhaps? Yes, very puzzling indeed.

Francescutti's term as head if the CMA will soon come to an end.  If you were hoping to land an executive role with big pharma, would you back a drug that's threatens their business model?  There's incestuous relationship between the CMA, Health Canada, and the big drug manufacturers...it's not exactly a big secret.

Actually you are more right than you think. I just checked and Dr. Chris Simpson replaced Dr. F last month (fantastic). He is younger than Dr. F is and he seems very progressive in advocating for the creation of a “comprehensive seniors’ strategy” at the federal level. Going forward, it is a certainty that MM will play a major role in this strategy ...more
