I saw Dundee picking up quite a few shares today

and they ended the day with a quick little head fake drop in the last 20 seconds. They will be picking up more shares next week as loose hands let go.

End of the day head fake

How do you know 027 is Dundee?
Comment by CommonCentsforDollars on Feb 20, 2015 5:39pm
Because 027 IS Dundee, scroll your mouse over 027 and what does it say,.. "Dundee". This stock is going to move up next week. Not everybody in the world is hovering over their computer to see BED got their license approved. Weekend researchers/readers will be buying on Monday.

Just to be clear, I used to have an account with Dundee as financial advisor, they bought shares for me and, it would show up as Dundee buying shares for me.  Means nothing really.  Could be one of their clients wanted to buy shares.  Doesn't mean Dundee as an institution is buying shares.  Just to clarify.

I see. But that might not be Dundee. I bought over 100,000 shares today. A big money manager like Dundee would not buy like this. Its order should be the size of 500,000 each transction. I doubt they will even think about buying it when the share price is lower than 1$. Maybe at 1.5$, they will start to jump in. Who cares. Just buy and forget it. You will make lot of money. Dundee is not stupid bro, they will be layering in. Only a fool would pump in a 500k order. They ordered small lots all day long. To go back to my post that Dundee dropped the SP, look at the below transactions, they did it at 3:57:28 then again at 3:58:15,... then TD house pumped one through at 85 cents, followed by two more houses at 85 cents,.. then the last 20 seconds Dundee dropped it again ...more

I would tend to agree, within caveats. I mean I would suggest that Dundee's people are not THAT stupid. But stupid they are for sure. But you're right in that no money manager would drop a 500K order for this dust mite of a stock. Definitely a layering strategy.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when you scroll the name ie "Dundee" or "TD" "RBC" etc. these are the investment banking outfits doing your bidding ie selling or buying on your behalf ie myself trading through Dundee. Not as you suggest money managers or  fund advisors at the Royal Bank or otherwise.

You are correct.  Sorry, just reading posts backwards.  Anyone of the trading platforms doesn't suggest institutions are  buying at all.  I have bought stock and sold and it shows up as Anon as well.  Not sure why.
