16% Discount?!
Anyone have an idea why BED is trading at such a big discount to the takeout price?
Are there no Arbs keeping this in line? or is TWD hard to short?
The deal seems pretty solid so not quite sure why there's such a sale going on in BED. 5% you'd expect with two months to closing, 16% is pretty crazy -- If TWD falls to 1.70 by closing you still breaking even buying BED here. But TWD exploded away from 1.80 and is hanging at 2.00 so it seems like 1.70 is a good entry point. I'm buying, I'm long a bunch.. I'm really confused.

Imagine getting the chance to invest in Budweiser 2 years before prohibition was abolished... Best quote to reflect this transaction yet!!! I personally love this deal, together these two companies merge into a world leader in a field that is very much in it's infancy. The future looks bright...

the only danger now is if tweed tanks on their financial#'s but that is short term.

what mystifies me is that tweed's up in sp and volume while bed's down!! buying here at ,81 is like getting tweed for under 1,80

Revenues are pretty much already priced in because they told us the gram's sold. So expect 1.25 Million in revenue. The question now is the burn rate.

Hello from Europe. Unless Tweed's management start to make mistakes we should have a winner here. I'm not happy about the amount they valued BED for but I don't care that much. I'm not selling, I'm long and I don't care about short sight or the prices of today or tomorrow.
