150 Mil Market cap ... TSX bound?
Dang- I stepped away for a bit and when I checked in, there was an atom bomb of MJ news that exploded up in here. A merger of the two head runner MJ companies!
The best rec. play and the best med/pharma play.
To be honest at first I was a pissed off, but after digesting things a bit more, all I can say is YES! Ten thumbs up on this move. Hardly any downside. Especially since Bed will be left alone to do its thing with more financial backing.
I actually expected these mergers / acquisitions of MJ companies to happen early next year when the "weeding" out process would be in full swing. But now that Tweedrocan (I like that name, not sure what they will eventually call the merged companies, but I will start calling it by that name for now :) has the head start on this then the next phase is wide open.
I have always contended that Edibles / extracts and so on was the next big thing. With the recent Supreme Court ruling, and after more clarification and HC approval, I can see them moving full steam ahead using Bed's consistent pharma grade MJ and Tweed's branding to produce a consistent no nonsense every edible's THC / CBD content will be what they advertise it to be. More $$$ in the bank!
Both companies, are on the same page to start generating positive profits soon, hopefully at the end of the year / beginning of next. So I look forward to what other goodness they are working on together.
