BGF ON THE PATH TO MAKING MULTIPLE TYPES OF GOLD DISCOVERIES

Post from Agoracom:  BEAUCE GOLD: ON THE PATH TO MAKING MULTIPLE TYPES OF GOLD DISCOVERIES

Two of the most common methods of extracting gold from the earth are placer mining and hard rock mining. While both methods have their own unique advantages and disadvantages, both are independent of one another and rarely comingle.

But what if there was a company out there with the possibility of accomplishing both? Exploring a alluvial gold depsoit specifically to locate its hard rock source, creating a discovery platform capable of satisfying both hard rock and alluvial gold enthusiasts.

This is why Beauce Gold ( BGF:TSXV ) is such a compelling story and opportunity. Situated within the largest placer gold district in Eastern North America, it has identified placer gold on 2 separate projects, while simultaneously attempting to trace the alluvial back to it's hard rock source for even greater discovery potential. This offers the rare opportunity to participate in multiple discoveries on the same project; and potentially leverage to the gold price itself.

The Beauce Gold project holds the company's flagship property ( St-Simon Les Moines ) home to Canada's first gold rush and some of the largest historical placer gold mines active from the 1860s to the 1960s. It produced some of the largest gold nuggets in Canadian mining history as well (50oz to 71oz). Mining stopped due to political influence, not because these areas where mined out.

The Beauce holds the largest historical placer gold deposit in Eastern North America. The calculated gold for the entire channel ranges between 61,000 ounces and 366, 000 ounces; a wide range to be sure, but also permitted for trial mining in 2013 by Beauce predecessor Uragold. The price of gold was substantially lower then. This is a much more valuable deposit today.

Beauce's next agenda is to locate where the hard rock source the gold originated from. Very few exploration companies offer this potential upside, the potential to make 2 types of gold discoveries on a single project. Beauce is very close to accomplishing this goal.

What makes Beauce currently stand out amongst its exploration peers is it's Megantic Project. Located about 100KM south of the Beauce Gold Property, it is a project the company is very high on and with a surprisingly simple exploration concept.

Beauce identified a major fault line running through previously identified placer mining operations and has spent the last 3 years consolidating the claims around the fault line on all sides of the identified historical operations. The property extends for at least 30 km along the axis of the ( Bella ) Fault. It is divided into four historic placer gold districts: the Ditton, the Mining Brook, the Chesham and Bergeron rivers.

The Ditton area is the one currently making the most noise and deserves immediate attention.

Beauce announced it has received preliminary exploration results indicating that discovered gold grains are widely distributed across the placer channel and in the pit of the Ditton sand & gravel quarry. It may not sound like much, but it deservers closer inspection to understand.

The Ditton sand and gravel pit has never been tested for gold prior to Beauce examining the possiblility. Now they may have a ready made placer operation in place, with the additional upside of locating the original hard rock source of the gold.

Patrick Levasseur, President and CEO of Beauce Gold Fields, said, “Finding gold grains over such a large area is strong indicator that the Ditton placer gold channel could be of significant size.” .... “Our objectives are to evaluate the potential for an economic placer gold deposit and to find indications that could lead to future bedrock lode gold discoveries.”

It's a remarkable exploration theory for gold discovery, and it is panning out on 2 separate projects.

Beauce Gold are the leaders in placer to hard rock exploration and are on the right path to making not only one, but possibly 2 company altering discoveries. Beauce Gold needs to be on every metal investor's watchlist.
