Whats your take on the amount of time for silver production from BHS, Ard?   Reasonable or excessive delay
Comment by Tinhos on Nov 27, 2020 10:19am
I am not Ard, but I will throw my two cents in anyway. I believe that the 50 ton high concentrate goal is quite a high number. The reason why it has to be so much is not clear but a speculation might be that the off take could ask for this amount being delivered as a minimum. Ramping up to such a throughput might be quite difficult to do with  a couple of hundred thousands instead of million ...more

My take is they are stockpiling enough to keep uninterupted continuous production going once they announce that production will be starting.....If true...I would agree that would be the best path to take than starting in fits and sputters which would not be a good idea with the history here....The share price would not fare well if that occurs....Just a guess though....best to all

I dont think that stockpiling of the high concentrate in order to buffer potential shortcomings in production is a valid reason. That would mean that they will stick to a single production line with a fixed and limited throughput that they plan to run as productivley as they can. But if you have a reliable cash flow from the concentrate, you can always to install a second production line to ...more

Actually I think you just said the exact same thing....They have been making concentrate for almost  2 months now and looking to expand concentrate production without annnouncing actual silver production "IS" stockpiling....Thankyou for that clarification.....best to all

Of course, G will always come up with ONE MORE THING.
Comment by sage4050 on Nov 28, 2020 12:36pm
WOW, can anyone tell us just how long have they been making concentrate?  A year or much more?.
Comment by ardbegoil on Nov 28, 2020 12:47pm
Sage....I think you may be confusing concentrating with sorted material...They were experimenting with concentrating less than a year ago and just recently started an offsite concentration facility in a moderate sized building and as Tinto was just saying they may be looking to expand that to an even  larger offsite location...We could refer to the new site as the "silver concentration ...more

When if ever are they going to concentrate on production.  You say "just recently" and immediately what jumps to mind is what in the world have they really been doing all this very very very long time.
Comment by ardbegoil on Nov 30, 2020 10:23am
Sage....You added the "immediately" word to the mix and that is what sent you into a tizzy previously about the BHS progress here ....THe problem before was you were adding your timetable to a slow moving low budget operation that never had a chance at moving at speeds of most normal mine operations ....We now have the hope that this new concentration facility will get us to the long ...more
