Are there that few "mints"?  If silver is so scarce why are the mints like a year out.

Who knows what he ment the fundamentals for silver are good, I think it was a cautionairy stament against efforts such as wallstreetsilver. He probably means the bulk of industrial silver demand can strike favourable prices from copper refining.  G has a good idea to try to sell directly to mints, just would sit here a lot more positive if we had a timetable or something alike.

To your first question, the answer is "yes"; to your second, a "mint" is like any other factory, it has a certain capacity of production and can only produce "so much, so fast".   There's no Tinkerbell with a magic wand to make all the silver coins, bars, whatever appear right before your eyes as fast as you can say "I want... ".  Sorry
