Drilling

As per last interview (see link below with the start time adjusted),  CP emphasized that 1 rig will be dedicated to Belmont, and the other 2 at Grade Creek stepping out from hole 5.  My question is, what led them to place the 3rd rig at Grade Creek, as opposed to the #1 target Belmont?  Did they see something in the first 2 holes at Grade Creek  to call an audible and focus on Grade Creek?  Recall Grade Creek hole 1 & 2 was started approximately 12 days earlier than hole 3.

You are obsessing over Belmont.  They will get to it when they get to it.  Plans change.  I'm not reading anything into the locations of the first three holes. If you want to speculate blindly maybe the RC rig is at Belmont drilling all kinds of shallow holes.  A RC rig always takes a bedrock sample before it moves on.  It's an expensive way to do field mapping ...more
