From what I've heard we have 47 more days to finally hear whether we will get EAC or not, Cheers to BKM and waiting one way or another to get final answer. It's time for Government to end this long wait. hoping for the best, at least the wait will be over!!!!!!

Where is this timeline coming from? I cant find any kind of date for the ministers to make a final decision on the mine.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they did have a time to reply to BKM, What say you salmon, you always seem to be way ahead of the rest of us on what's going on. hope i'm right, cheers to all BKM

Maybe UpTownDog was referring to the news release below. There are 24 days left in April, plus 20 more days until May 20th = 44 days. Not sure why the Gold Commissioner would be involved in granting the mining permit, as my understanding is that he is responsible for leases and not permits. That said, he has been extremely helpful, as he was instrumental in reinstating the lease.

Salmon: Your probably right and I misunderstood, but seems to me that what I was told was different, anyways cheers BKM and hope for May 22, what would be the reason for them not renewing lease???? and giving us our EAC before the end of mining month, which is the end of May???

It seems that the government created an avenue to finally get to decision on this project.  Rather than requiring completion of an SAIR (that as presented to the company by the previous government included vague information demands that essentially amounted to an entirely new environmental assessment), they seem to have offered the choice to proceed to decision with what is essentially a

Uptown - I don't think any of us will hear much more for a while.  The EAO never announces when they have actually put the referral package in front of the Ministers.  It just happens when they are ready and then it's radio silence until the decision.  The last letter from the EAO told PBM to state their desired course of action by March 11.  From that point I estimate
