Six Nations EDT announces more than $780,000 in funding
The Six Nations of the Grand River Economic Development Trust recently announced 2024 funding recipients.
A total of $783,147.07 in funding has been allocated to 11 different recipients.
“Since 2016, the EDT has invested over $17.3 million back into the Six Nations community. This funding is made possible through annual distributions of surplus profits by Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation,” said a media release.
EDT received 12 applications that were completed and were able to make it to the shortlist presentation phase.
“Following the presentations and individual and group scoring, the EDT committee approved four general and seven grassroots applications for community investment,” said the release.
