I've only been here for a decade so I can't speak for everyone, but picture a goal post with wheels. Or a donkey following a carrot tied to a stick.  If you fill up your yearly RRSP and TFSA accounts, you can keep ahead of the dilution. You do get free admission to some Conference Calls though, kind of keeps you psyched up!! I hope I didn't sound cynical there.
