In the past, management would phrase the completion of an upcoming event with "to be completed in the second quarter."  This would give them some breathing room.  Mind you, they would miss the timeline anyway so what does it matter which words they use.

I would think soon. Just imagine the size of that document. Look at the value of the property. You draw up the papers send them over to the other side. They made some changes send it back. You make some changes send it back. Then when both are happy they sign off on it. Then it gets drawn up as a final document for signing. That all takes time sorry to say. IIRC one key diffence is that in the past they never even revealed the identities of supposed partners. This time we know it is TMAS and they both publicly stated a willingness to complete the deal. I have worked on some pretty large legal Agreements in the past (although in a different industry) and the back-and-forth redlining by lawyers can be brutal depending on their zealousness.....

Minepic, It's not done until it's signed. I've seen this many times in business. Both parties want to do the deal but they won't budge on the fineprint. I'm not saying it's not going to get done but when I'm told that the deal is imminent, it better be.. Try that with anyone you're dealing with and see if you don't get an earfull.  Sounds like "the
