Question - The Newbie needs your help Please

Help the newbie out please...

Tim picked up 1.6 million shares at .075 a week ago.  This is awesome; it's a great sign when a CEO picks up more shares, on this we can all agree.

Here is where I need help: where do these shares come from and how 'else' are they reported?

I did not see a volume spike of 1.6 million shares so it's not a trade on the open market.  Are 1.6 million authorized shares added to outstanding and go directly to him?  Does the acquisition cause some degree of dilution?  Can CEO's own warrants and is that potentially exercising ones that could be expiring?

To make this clear, I am NOT suggesting, implying, inferring or anything that something nefarious took place; I just don't know where they came from, how they got them or how we would know without checking (I think it was called SEDI).  I repeat, I am glad he acquired more; it's a great sign.

thanks in advance for the responses

Newbie, Go to the top of this page and click on "Insiders". Click on TDD, then down arrow and read the private trade details of Sept 7 - 1.6M shares at $0.08 was the transaction. IMO, the shares were held by an EV shareholder and sold to TD as was discussed recently. I seem to recall this year in Jan when TD was interviewed he commented that if a "Long" was going to sell a ...more

Maybe it's because I'm on mobile but I'm not seeing a great level of detail.  I'm also seeing a price of 7.5 cents and not 8.  I also recall Tim saying something to the effect of paragraph number 2. Still puzzled though.  I agree that you're correct in a long transferring shares to Tim and that it's reported on SEDI.  It's legit and on the up and up ...more

Hey Iam, I was crrious and went to the Insiders button like BB outlined. I clicked the downward arrow next to the transaction and it said sold privately at .08. I would assume the person couldn't sell the wad without going below .075, and Tim doesn't want the SP to tank, so it worked out for both.  But a perfect description of why our share price has bottomed out a hair above the ...more

Shares traded privately do not need to go through one of the exchanges (TSX, Alpha, Neo. etc.).  If you have an old school physical certificate which has not been deposited into a broker account you can just sign the back and exchange it for cash with someone else (you should also contact the company's transfer agent and let them know who now owns the shares). If the shares are with a ...more

BB99, Myrty1 and BMP2000 thank you for making it very understandable.   I will have to look at the trade on my laptop when I am home for the additional details, but I appreciate the explanation of private trading : ) Now that that's all out of the way, let's get this show on the road, some of us need to retire by 40!

I guess I'll ask the difficult question here - why would a 'long' want out at .075 or .08?!? While I'm riding the positive vibes of potential pending news, I hope someone can shed some light on this.

Sorry I saw this late and shot my mouth off.  This does make sense.  Stock won't do you much when you're dead.  Hopefully we all see prosperity in our lifetimes.   Thanks BB!

Or, or, the dude or dudette had a pile of warrants set to expire Oct 9 at .075/share($8.785M).  The volume has long dried up on our security so Tim helps them out and makes them .005/share by selling and exercising their warrants before the Expiry date.  Tim can't fire up a PP for himself and he'd be paying a lot more than .08/share on the open market, so there you go.   Not sure who this is directed at (or why you insist on speaking with ellipses) but you always sound so angry.  It's almost the weekend, be happy. Michael Dehn is going to take us into the future and help you recoup your massive losses.  Take some satisfaction in that. Now it's time to hurry up and wait.  Some things (and people) never change.

Speak for yourself. I don't have massive losses. One good move and I am in the black.. pilgrim..

Hey Lanny, I also have not lost any money on this stock. I may have gained some grey hairs and wrinkles, but still no losses. Why? Beause I have not sold any of my shares! Never a truer word said Sir.. I mean we start out buying PPs then you take a haircut raised our price times seven but we have had ample time to avg. down. I know I have and it made a difference. But never the less twenty eight birthday parties. But who's counting.. take care..
Comment by Myrty1 on Sep 16, 2021 8:43pm
With any luck it will plummet and you can average down again. That's your pretzel logic.
Comment by ListenandLearn on Sep 17, 2021 7:45pm
You have to be on drugs to think a reasonable person would believe you. The haircut didn't rais the price by 7, it cut the number of shares you owned by 7 !!!! Anything you bought before the year 2000 was over $1.00/share. With the share consolidation you padi $7.00/share and yu averaged down to 15 cents? I call your BS little man....you're just full of it....Not even close....

I have never paid a dollar for a PP stock. Are you stupid or what.

How bad la iar can you be! Don't you know that this information is publicly available. So, here's one brick iin that puddle: A PP closed on April 11, 2002 at 30 cents/unit. After 7:1 consolidation, you paid $2.10 in 2002 dookars. And that's the facts. Let's go a bit further A doolar in 2002 is now worth $1.56 in 2021. Real cost of those share to you: $3.28!!!. Yeah!, you're ...more

BlueBoron99 appears to be awake at this hour and thanking others.  Perhaps he will give you the time of day. I've shared with you my speculations; now that you've brought it up it doesn't look 'great' but could be a variety of reason.  Sweet Heart deal seems likely but...
