Hi liveit, google John Williams "Shadowstats", he has been keeping records on inflation in The US for over 20 years. He uses the old method that includes housing and food in the equation. The official Government statistics in The US is 7.9%, but those records if calculated using housing and food bring the inflation rate up to 15%. I'm surprised that you have never heard of John

hello tdsb, to use 1 individual in the world to determine inflationary paremeters is asking for error.     that is why a consenus of a variety of input from many is the best.                                              cherrypicking just doesn't cut it with statistics
