Canada & USA to fast track Critical Mineral List Approvals
I first read some info on this subject matter about 4 years ago, and posted an article a year ago on the final Critical list of minerals, which was approved & released by the European Commission.
In Canada, it appears our federal government hasn't moved the needle too much in the last 4 years as per this article to expedite the process to fast track the approvals for critical mine development.
Our federal govnt politicians now claim they are going to reduce the mining license approval term from 25 years to 5 years, which is quite the task. Based on my life experiences in mining investments, I don't see our politicians accomplishing that task.
A few things come to mind-
Firstly, it is the Provinces in Canada which control the natural resources on their landbase, so the federal govnt needs to convince the Provinces to come onboard with their fast tracking proposals.
As well, I would expect some delays by groups such as communities, water resources, fisheries, wildlife & enviromental specialists with aboriginal groups the name a few, will all have to provide input/ feedback on the critical mine development proposal along the way. This all takes time...
Our Piskanja mine proposal has now been in play for 28 years since the first drill bit started spinning, and according to TD we should receive the mining license before the end of this year.
I have been a shareholder with Boron One & Erin Ventures approaching 27 years in Dec/23 and I'm looking forward to an instant closure, with a buyout after the Serbian Ministry approves the Elaboarate, our 3,500 page document on the Piskanja project.
IMO, as BORON is a key component on the "Critical List of Materials" as boron can produce 550 different products, with many mitigating the reduction of carbon emissions, we are definitely in the driver's seat for a prompt approval!
Enjoy the read!

I like your thinking OB1. What do you surmise a buyout Share price range TD would accept?

So, why would Bone need Osmose if there's a buyout between the resource rectification and approval of the mining license?

Perhaps that's why they're delaying the Osmose deal?

If any of this is true then a statement by Mr T is needed to reassure major holders . By releasing any info

Whatever Canada and the U.S decide about fast tracking "critical minerals" has nothing to do with Serbian authorities approving our mine. Why is this even in this board , BONE may be Canadian based but the mine is located in SERBIA. Serbian Mining laws dictate our mine.

The SP is holding pretty steady, so no indication that the "select few" are starting to leave the boat. I think that this will move in a hurry (either way) with the next NR. Hoping for the best in spite of TD's Gong Show.

This is Canada speeding up the mine process , our mine is in Serbia , what does expediating the mining process in Canada have to do with a Serbian mining licenses? Am I missing something ?

I agree with you on that front.. the rest of the conversation with this header got a little side-tracked.
