Hot off the press - Local Support of Bone

Thanks for the article BB99.

Who took time to translate the comments made in Serbian???  Nearly every single one of them was scathing; if Tim thinks he has the locals behind him, think again.

Here are some Highlights:

we don't need Canadians or any other colonialists to valorize our mineral resources

Well, this is terrible. This is a crime. Serbia is being killed and destroyed by these thieves from the SNS and their coalition patches, along and across.

They have their own land and let them dig in it as much as they want, and Serbia stays with us.

Out of 2 billion to the state, 60 million damage to the environment is immeasurable. NEVER!

It is clear to me why they operate in some African countries!!! Not to all!!! It means that this government admits that it is worse than Somalia's!!!! Serbia has mineral wealth but also agricultural wealth!!! The latter can earn much more and not pollute!!! And we have the brains and qualified workforce to exploit our own!!!!

Does Serbia have any obligation to open a mine?

Again, great pollution with tailings left and for little money.

these Belgraders from various institutes and ministries that give conditions and approvals, let them bathe in boric acid

Sounds a lot like Rio Tinto round 2; where public uproar resulted in the government withdrawing licenses previously issued to RT. Maybe when Tim said locals, he meant local politicians who he can personally enrich?  Sure doesn't sound like the community is keen on holes being dug and their mineral wealth being exploited.
