How much is Balkan Gold Worth?

Basically, how much is Piskanja worth as Jarandol isn't worth much right now.
So, how much is Piskanja worth?
To date, the best estimate we have in from the 2022 PEA:
The Net Project Casflow is $1.1B,
NPV10 is $525M.
These # are most probably a bit higher today

Please post if you have any other reliable estimates ?

TEMAS ANNOUNCES FILING OF POSITIVE PRELIMINARY ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT FOR PISKANJA BORON PROJECT Temas Resources Corp. and its partner Erin Ventures Inc. have filed an independent technical report providing the preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for the Piskanja boron project located in Serbia on SEDAR, as per the terminology, definitions and guidelines given in the Canadian Institute of Mining, ...more

These are the #s from the 2022 PEA. So, Piskanja is worth around 600M USD (750M Cdn) presently. Should easily be able to sell it for 50 cents a share. There's about $5M worth of financing to secure ($3M for the Part 3 documents, permitting, licenses and what-have-you plus $1M/year to keep the lights on) and sell it for much more.  Let's see if the smart Big Boys will swoop in early ...more

these numbers do not include jarondal... which may add several miillion in bluesky potential as wildcat drilling in past showed boron beds in the basin as well.... as well the number should be higher now than 2022 as project is getting derisked....elaborate has been filed and approve and feasability is on cusp of being filed .....exploitation licence will add millions to bottom line IMHO
Comment by ListenandLearn on Jun 21, 2024 1:30pm
Jarandol was left for grabs for a while and nobody picked it up. In addition, it's still mostly unexplored and the little drilling that was done didn't yield really great #s.... Not sure what value to assign to it but the fact that BONE never has been able to find a JV partner for it is an indication... You would think that the work that has been done since 2022 would be worth something ...more

"And that leads to a simple question, Is there anything that's preventing BONE from completing all of the above taks in the short-term ? Such a great project, so where's the hold-up ? " I believe many here agree with these sentiments.....as you have said NR's are expected ............one of them MAY resolve the issue. Fingers crossed

Tmp posted: "And that leads to a simple question, Is there anything that's preventing BONE from completing all of the above taks in the short-term ? Such a great project, so where's the hold-up ? " I can think of 2 reasons, TD and BF.
Comment by ListenandLearn on Jun 21, 2024 3:41pm
BF is only the bean counter and PP front man. TD takes all the decisions and conduct all negotiations. For me, it boils down to a single reason. The PP offering closed more than 1 week ago and no news. Never happened before.  A slew of good news coming ?

Calabrese/Listen and Learn, https://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item/Z-C!BONE-3565115/C/BONE Just getting caught up with your bashing comments. I beleive this is what you are looking for, and I might add it was posted 10 days ago. Due Diligence is the key if you want to know the facts. Now back to Ignore. (bb-99)

Due diligence is key - We agree on something. Good ! (1).  You mean to tell me that BONE announce the results of a PP 5 days before its termination date?!?! Check the dates:  June 7th vd June 12th. (2) BONE made the same type of PP offering not too long ago, when it closed they released this NR " Boron One Announces Successful Closing of Early Warrant Exercise Incentive Program ...more

My misunderstanding, I thought you were referring to the most recent non-brokered PP. In terms of the Warrant Program fundraiser, I'm expecting an update on it soon and would imagine it would raise allot of cash. The offer that was presented to shareholders that bought into the original PP was surperb, and I suspect there was allot of participation in it. Unfortunately for me I did not buy ...more

Fair enough ! The warrant incentive program closed more than 1 week ago though. I've never seen BONE be so slow in reporting financing after its close. We'll know soon enough how good the participation was....

T.D is busy with PPs , it takes time to organize them all. He must be a very busy man .

tmp, To my knowledge recent delays have been with  media communications, specifically with newspaper advertisements discussing the Piskanja mine proposal to the local stakeholders. At this time, the new Mining Laws are dictating the process and there is no getting out of it when you are the first Company to go through the process. We are breaking trail! (bb-99)
Comment by Shamrock58 on Jun 22, 2024 11:55am
BB I agree with the ongoing discussions slowing things down , Serbia is changing mining laws almost as they happen , RT for example caused massive problems for the government to settle .  Some of the delays may be related to the Ibarski ( JP PEU) and with the Serbian miners union in regards to Piskanja ownership ( I think Ibarkski still  claims 10%). All of those factors will have to be ...more

Shamrock, Where did you get that JP PEU is claiming part ownership of Piskanja ? As far as I know BONE opted out back in 2013 and is the sole owner of Piskanja.

BB. For some the glass is always half empty. Just like the exercising of the warrants. it's not a PP. it just takes longer for whatever the reason. People speak of the PEA. It was very strong then could we just imagine it today. The price of colemanite in my opinion has not gone down. My question is how much has it gone up. Don't know.
Comment by blueboron99 on Jun 22, 2024 12:27pm
Lanagold, Statista colemanite price for Dec /23 was at $558 US/tonne and was expected to increase going into 2024. (bb-99)
Comment by Lanagold19 on Jun 21, 2024 11:21pm
What if colemanite is selling for 600.00 per tonne not 500.00. A feller would have to re compute. maybe.
Comment by ListenandLearn on Jun 22, 2024 6:40am
Predicting the future is not an exact science. So, sure - Changes can be positive (i.e. colmanite price up) as well as negative (i.e. cost of goods and services up).
