A quote from the start of the Critical Raw Materials summit from Maros Sefcovic , president of the European green team when referring to a strategic partnership. " We are meeting on this historic day, a historic day for Serbia , for the EU, and historic proof we are already living in the era of clean tech . This will open the door to the largest foreign direct investment in Serbian history " This quote was referring to raw materials , battery supply chains and electric vehicles . From what I can get from this it was directed at RT 's lithium mine but hopefully investing in boron mining was also included . No matter what it does show that Serbia is now more than ever open for foreign mining investment . Serbia meeting with EU on raw materials happening this weekend . Might be worth following .
