Parse the first sentence: 1 - the word "substantially' is extraneous - It add nothing to the comprehension. It's just a "fluff" word adding ambiguity to a simple sentence: "Mr. Daniels devotes all of his working time to the affairs of the Corporation." Begs the question, How does Mr. Daniels find time to be the director of another corporation? This is symptomatic

substantially is a limiting word to all...........to equal       most of his time........no?

In the present context, it's an ambiguous word.  "Substantially all" has a different meaning based on the legal context. Why make complicated when "Most of the time" would have done ? You could have guess that I'm not Not a fan of that kind of talk.

agreed "most of the time " would have been better choice of phrase and Lanny..I agree this is a good time to buy....those that have the $$$ and do not take advantage of current prices will look back with regret
