NCIB: Gotta do Something with the Cash !

Normal Course Issuer Bid for up to 62ish thousand shares over the next year .....I suspect there hasn't been that many shares traded in the past two years.

The two major complaint about BQE and its shares have been the low current market cap ( $35ish million) and lack of liquidity with only 1.25 million shares outstanding. This move by the company
should give some confidence to minority shareholders  that at current levels the shares represent great value, and going forward the excess cash being generated could/should be directed into dividends rather than share buybacks.

Hopefully, in the near term, the result will be significantly increased
liquidity. And then, hopefully, we can get some major investment banks to cover the company.

In the mean time, we'll have to let the company's results do the talking .

Positive sign that two big, insider shareholders, Stein and Hubbard continue to acquire  shares, and CEO David Kratochvil sharply increased his shareholdings through exercise of options ( well deserved).  That, along with the continuing positive operational wins  and recently announced share buyback program should attract  investors', new and old, attention .  ...more
