re BRW, the Mirage project is within the L6 reservoir restricted area. This restriction has been in place for about 34 years. Given the recent push for "green energy", increased demand form the NE USA for green hydro power may be the impetus for Quebec Hydro to proceed with L6 Hydro development. I infer this from Quebec Hydro plans to build a connector road from the Trans Taiga highway to the Renard Diamond mine road, and build power transmission along this road south to Mistissini to tie into existing transmission grid. Imagine the class action shareholder suites that would surely follow if a company spend $10's or $100's of millions on an exploration project only to have Quebec Hydro proceed with L6 Hydro Project. For this reason, I didn't stake or have put money in harms way on any companies whose exploration projects are within any Quebec Hydro restricted areas.

Trader53 - any suggestion where to find a map of the L6 (or I6) reservoir restricted area? Is it "I6", not "L6"? I got nothing when I googled L6, but I got more when I googled I6. Is QH moving more toward wind power? I think I read they were up to 9% total generated electricity, from wind. I imagine hydro is still cheaper than wind.
