And the government won't be stupid to reject the project.  It will be designed on highest national and international standards, they do dry stacking, best possible way for water management, etc.  Its a huge opportunity for local and national stakeholders, 100 millions of taxex, royalities ect.  The activists work with false information. Everything you say is correct about benefits and upside to the locals and the country.  All the logic and facts about benefits from mining fall on deaf ears and even if the government say go ahead, the locals will start road blocks and possibly even escalate to violence. Bluestone will not win this fight. The locals are fundamentally very stupid people who have been duped by the anti-mining

Dont agree. Money and economic benefits will be the reason why this mine will be build. And you should not forget, those activists are a very small group, mainly from ouside. Their buisness model is to have this anti mining agend.  Again, Guatemla won't let them proceed. They need foreign investments, they need million tax and royalty dollars.
