Looks like we have some evidence of good ol fashion share price manipulation.
Don't think for a second that there aren't smarter minds than you realizing how to manipulate this stock for their own gain. As I mentioned before, RBC has sold over 3million shares in the past 3 months or so, add in what they also sell thru anonymous and you have a lot of shares being sold from one person or group - and I can guarantee you they don't have any biotech or pharma background to know the value of xB3 technology, nor any insight into deals and partnerships being worked on. Maybe they are disappointed in the company or maybe they are selling for non-specific company reasons (like the need to buy a house). Whatever the reason they have been selling.
BUT alas, now you see RBC and anonymous on both sides of the trade (buying and selling between themselves). Geez, that wouldn't be manipulation would it?
As I think JD has pointed out in a previous post, if it is the people that tried to strong arm the company in years past (with prior management) to get their way (and enrich their own pockets as a result) well, maybe they are back to their old games. They were unsuccessful, stopped dead in their tracks actually, in coercing management before (thank goodness) and times were different back then also. Today, Bioasis is much further along with it's science, it's patents, it's financial position, it's current partners, it's analyst community that follows it, and the partners it is working with now. I'm 100% positive this selling group will have any success trying that stunt again with the current Bioasis Board - 0% chance, nada, zippo, zilch, fuggit about it.
Just look at today's trading to see the volleying back and forth between Anonymous and RBC, and RBC and Anonymous.
And just to instill maximum fear in shareholders, they (RBC and Anonymous) finish off the trading day by dropping it a full penny (which is a big % amount) with the closing trade. Watch closely everyone ... the game is on.
BTW we are now at ridiculous market cap levels. There are pre-clinical biotechs trading in the USA with a lot less in the pipeline and less in paid partnerships already but are trading at 10x our market cap - yes, 10x!
Pharmas and biotechs have noticed this absurdity or will take notice soon enough.
You can't have a
$138m USD in milestones deal (which is $167m CDN) already signed and sealed in June last year (so milestone payments are getting closer and closer) and the company is trading at $18m CDN. You don't think Chiesi or others are going to do some economic modelling based just on that deal alone? Heck, what about the other 26 programs we can have solutions for (see more about those
over here xB3-001 and xB3-004 are crown jewels in the pipeline than can be worth multiples of our current market cap in the right hands.
Just be careful of "manipulated selling" .. unfortunately it exists and hiding behind Anonymous makes this easy to pull off.
