trying to understand?

The news first come out after the market closed on i believe a up day to close @.26. Since that time the fierce article followed & the volume has been pretty much zero & not a soul has even hit the ask which has sit below .26 mark since the first NR- can someone help me to understand this without being a sausage or if u must - just need to understand why? Just seems odd - I would of thought a few of the more positive folks would be plucking these off like crazy- at the same time pockets might be filled up regardless of the low SP.
TIA

Thanks for reposting kbc - what you say makes good sense IMO. Much appreciated.

There was a time when a deal would move the stock.  In Sept 2016, we got the Vaccinex deal.  BTI ran up to $2+ prior to the announcement.  But here we are 6 years later with deals that didn't go anywhere, or we're still waiting for existing deals to move forward, and still no clinical trial.  So just the announcement of a deal no longer generates any excitement.  ...more

The float, cmonreally24-a-quarter-64-a-dime, is not completely diluted and Bioasis has not had a serious equity financing in four years. But like I said, facts don't stop you from trolling. jd

I'm not working voluntarily, comon24nothing. I never voluntarily worked in my life. There's always a purpose. And don't worry about me, cmon. I've been providing for myself and my family for over 50 years. Have you paid your securities fraud penalty yet? jd

Guys & gals, when a company has a sub-$20m CDN market cap with technology that could be worth Billion$ (and is getting closer to proving that with each new partner and collaboration) at what point should I average down realizing that the day of celebration should be coming in 2022? Serious question.

Pof's post is myopic. It's all negative. Bioasis is doing all of its work with partners. Partners have the resources to get things done. But they can only do so much before they'll have to pay Bioasis in a substantial deal. Vaccinex was worthless. J&J would never announce a deal like this one with Bioasis. It's not material for such a large company. Prothena likely didn't ...more

In response to pof's lovely chart about biotech market caps relative to cash, in a world where cash evaporates, I determined it is about as relevant to provide a link to CBOT Corn Futures, to satisfy any interest there may be in future corny posts. jd

The price of food is an important one. Most of the world lives paycheck to paycheck. With the price of oil, food, and other commodities spiking, etc., there's talk of food riots, etc. The world needs more of the basics immediately and not speculative science that may take a decade to develop. First we got to eat, etc. Poof, is this post doesn't show how "flippy" you are (going ...more

Classic POOF trying to generate some FUD yesterday and today.  Biotech ETF lows?  Inflation?  Speculation?  Food prices?  Food riots?  What?

"Classic POOF trying to generate some FUD yesterday and today. Biotech ETF lows? Inflation? Speculation? Food prices? Food riots? What?" Shows he sold on news and looking to buy again, think BTI's on the way up. Then there's still some people thinking he's a stand up man, HA.

Can you be any more obvious with your postings POOF? Geez. It is so transparent.

Instead of researching Bioasis's drug/disease combinations, how they work and who the competitors are, poofster captures today's headlines and copy/pastes them here. The biotechs that are having problems almost all have only one or two "do-or-die" programs. Bioasis has an almost infinite number of drug/disease opportunities and, with collaborators, is pursuing upwards of two ...more

After more than 14 years in business, fuzzy, Bioasis needs to prove something. Companies entering collaborations mean one thing - the companies, as we, want to know if xB3 works and if it can be used to create something of therapeutic and commercial value. So what comes first? A deal and an IND submission seem to be good candidates. It's unlikely that that a collaborator can apply for IND ...more
