This is why i love this board

There is a such a disconnect between fantasy and reality,

First is the fantasy. BTI has a billion dollar+ platform that has yet to be recognized and either most of the biotech world can't see that and/or management is stealing it away from shareholders

Then there is the reality. The stock is trading at $.02. The company has no money. The company for many years has not been able to raise any significant monies. The company has no drugs in the clinic. The company has failed to come through on any of its plans. One company after another has evaluated the technology and has passed on it. The company has been around for years and has accomplished pretty much nothing. But yeah, they have an incredible platform worth billions. A tiny canadian biotech company that can't sell itself for pretty much nothingg as seen today is at the forefront of the BBB. Yeah, sure.

It's just too funny what some of you actually believe. Bankruptcy is coming.

And I love prophetofabsurdity's excuse that BTI is hindered because biotechs are not in favor right now. Oh really? What about a few years ago when biotechs were in one of the biggest bull markets ever? Almost every day you'd wake up to a small biotech company announcing a lucrative partnership with a bigger company. Just hinting any clinical or even pre clinical success would send the ...more

We've probably had enough of your repetitious "too funny" sarcasm, zwerp. Have you nothing of interest to add to the conversation? Here's a question for you. Why did Ladenburg Thalmann spend over a year setting this deal up? It took massive work with two companies and The Placee to get this done. The agreements are many tens of thousands of words long. Why did they do it? Would ...more

So then, as i asked prophetofabsurdity, what happens now? BTI has no money, debt obligations that are coming due within the next month or so that they can't pay, an inept CEO and management.  Presumably the company shopped their platform around and couldn't find anyone to buy into it and save them. For years the company did nothing to advance its pipeline and now all of the sudden ...more

The first question about what happens now, zwerp2000, is who will be in charge of what happens now?   You say that "Presumably the company shopped their platform around..."   I'm not sure that they shopped it around in the way most of us think it should be shopped around.    Here's the problem. Either xB3 works and is worth a lot, or it does not ...more

But again, Jd, what happens now? No doubt Rathjen and the management has been a disaster. We can argue whether the platform has value yadda, yadda, yadda. However, at this point, Rathjen is your CEO. You is incapable of doing anything. The company's white knight has backed out. BTI has no money. BTI seemingly has no one coming in to save them. BTI has debt that is coming due very soon. They can ...more

Bioasis must raise money. Without money it's over. I listed the ways that Bioasis may be able to raise money.  It's up to the shareholders to choose who can be trusted to attempt it. There is no guarantee that anybody can do it. If Rathjen is left to do it then would she not shop it it in the manner you might hope? How about selling Bioasis outright to Armistice or somebody like ...more

Stop insinuating that X3 works, you have no evidence. you make the same argument every times! why hasn't any company bought us or even singed a deal if X3 worked? You can't answer it, becaue you have no evidence but all you keep doing is insinuating that it works and else why would a company try a takeover ... which btw... they backed out! News flash! move on with your opinion pieces ...more

What?! There's lots of evidence that xB3 works. Scientific papers, peer reviewed, several of them, all desribing success. Dozens of scientists, perhaps hundreds, have signed onto those papers. What we don't have is any evidence that xB3 doesn't work.  Show us some evidence that xB3 doesn't work, uncle, evidence that is on a par with evidence that it does work. I suppose you& ...more

Works on humans JBroke?? Works on Primates JBroke? LoL! Mouse models for gods sakes.  Bloody mice! Like we have been saying for years....there is a reason every Pharma walked away. But hey..... they just couldn't "read between the lines" like you!
Comment by Boomskid on Jan 23, 2023 11:02pm
Umm, Craigee Poo, let me explain. It was decided long ago that xB3 does not need to be tested against NHPs. Individual xB3-Payloads may need to be tested against NHPs but that's dependent almost solely on the payload. Repeat after me in this order. A) Test in small animals, mice, usually. B) Submit to FDA or another drug agency for IND or equivalant approval. C) Test in humans. These tests ...more

We know enough that we didnt lose our ENTIRE life savings JBroke! We know enough we dont have to create a gofundme page just to start up a website! Comment by Boomskid on Jan 24, 2023 2:24am
Yes, you are correct. I produced no evidence that xB3 works. Dr Carl Webster of AstraZeneca did that with his colleagues. They delivered IL-1Ra to mice brains. They put in their scientific paper that xB3 was the best BBB/CNS drug delivery technology they had ever tested.  Texas Tech showed it with brain tumours by delivering trastuzumab to the brains of mice with HER2+ metastases. xB3-001 ...more

,,I know it would be a novel idea,,but perhaps those who actually do own shares in Bioasis get on the same side of the arguement here and actually be proactive in supporting the company in the future what ever that will entail.  Does it work??,,the documents and data we have access to says its does and does it well. Either you believe in the technology or not,,,if not just cash out and ...more

Well, narmac, I've pretty much exhausted what I have to say about it all. The question about whether one believes or not that xB3 works is legitimate only in the sense that one has the right to believe what one wants. The world is round but one can believe it flat. xB3 so far has shown that it works, but one can believe it does not. Shareholders have just over a week to decide whether they ...more

Craig says about me, "He knows so much more than Scientists with PHDs and Masters" The general truth about scientific papers is that you cannot know more on the subject than the authors unless you expand on their work. Experts know more than I know, Craig. And I know more than you do. The difference between me and thee, Craig, is that I try very hard to know stuff.  You are ...more

LoL!! You were also "sure" you would make alot of money on Bioasis!!! Get lost JBroke. You are irrelevant
Comment by Boomskid on Jan 23, 2023 11:53pm
I was never sure that I would make a lot of money on Bioasis. I was confident that if xB3 worked as hoped that it would be worth a lot of money. It was also clear that I was worried about Bioasis management as early as 2012, and I posted those worries. I was worried that Bioasis would not prove the value of xB3. They chose not to do that, astonishingly, and I was right to worry about it. I and ...more
