I will only believe it when I see a press release.

With all due respect, my man, how did you come by this information?   This information is material to the company due to its current position --insider information prior to it being released to the public--  not at all legal.  Also seems rather convenient that this is coming right before the end of voting for the AGM.  -Pete

My source tells me its an indirect confirmation of the continued partnership. Is it material?,,,The other extensions were never mentioned to shareholders. I have not stopped trying to bring all shareholders together around these trying circumstances BTI has created. Any and all tid bits are offered. Friday will possibly tell the tale if correct. Will it make a difference to share price,,not likely ...more

Please note the pop in share price based on the spreading of this rumour --the company's finances are & have been in the toilet for a while now--  any kind of news about extensions is "good news". If this is actually true-- if Janssen --Prothena --or any of those other guys are still in play-- why such "dire circumstances" & the terrible to SHs deal with ...more

I suspect, OttawaPeter, or at least it wouldn't surprise me, that some deals are still available for closing and/or extending. My guess is that for many months Bioasis, Midatech, Ladenburg Thalmann and other players demanded a standstill of some sort. That could mean that Bioasis could not close anything during that time because it would have changed Bioasis's market cap and potential ...more

This is great news...especially since we're irrevocably out of the Medatech deal....The existing $750K loan as well as the $350K loan are easy to work with but the Lind repayment poses a problem in June '23 Hopefully the J@J thru Jannsen will facilitate a licensing agreement and give us some new legs with Bioasis...assuming we have a solid "NO VOTE" on Friday
Comment by G1945V on Feb 01, 2023 6:16pm
As I see it a yes or a no vote on Feb 3 bears no consequence with respect to BTI moving forwards with any future prospects. G1945V
Comment by Boomskid on Feb 01, 2023 7:50pm
I understand the desire to vote no but we cannot predict with any certainty what Lind will do with a no vote. Lind's rights under the agreements are hard to decipher. Bioasis says it has enough money until March, four weeks away. If Bioasis cannot make a payment on the original Lind loan then the June due date for the promissory notes may have no meaning. Repayment of all Lind loans is due on ...more

The voting already closed so people voted how they voted. The vote does matter-- incompetent DR & BOD "unanimously" approved that deal that only benefitted them.  Does anyone trust them not to continue to screw SHs?  I dont --NO confidence. loan situation-- definitely fishy & stinks.

This on Twitter posted 8 hours ago,,, Bioasis continues to explore & evaluate strategic alternatives that may enhance shareholder value, including continuing as a standalone company, evaluating potential strategic transactions or partnerships, and reviewing financing alternatives.

Saw that sad attempt to sway votes in their favour-- too little, too late.
Comment by Boomskid on Feb 01, 2023 10:36pm
That Bioasis Tweet is almost verbatim from the press release    My earlier post is consistent with what I've been posting all along. My concern tonight was my friend ronrydell's comments about the $750,000 and $350,000 being available and that the notes aren't payable until June. I'm not so sure about all that. I did make a mistake there. A final payment of $250,000 ...more

It's the Lind payment that's due in June. The other amounts that I referenced should/could be paid anytime from now thru March. At least we now have a little something to hope for with the renewed option.
Comment by Boomskid on Feb 02, 2023 10:09am
Well, there is an "earlier" clause that can be activated before the June 30 date, ronrydell.  it's a really important clause. All three new promissory notes, the Midatech $750,000 note, and the Lind $350,000 and $510,000 notes, have the same terms except that Lind has first call on Bioasis assets and Midatech has second call. The original Lind loan, the convertible security ...more

Thanks for the comprehensive clarification. My hope is that we don't suddenly lose all we've collectively put into this project over all these years. The J@J (Jannsen) option renewal has given us(me) some hope. Let's see how next week's posts and( actions?) talke place after tomorrows AGM. I'm not holding my breath for a Q@A afterwards....will this be a zoom call or just on ...more

Thanks, Ron. I'm not trying to be the bearer of bad news, problems and hard times. If the current BoD and DrDR are voted out then there may not be a lot of time to set up a new Bioasis crew. I just don't think shareholders ought to think they have until June 30 before things fall apart. Immmediate action is needed. Lind represents, as they say, a clear and present danger. jd

"Thanks again JD for keeping us informed regarding this sad debacle." the saddest thing here is you have a disgruntle X employee/contractor who did a brutal job , was let go , holds zero shares,  who's out for revenge & people r following like sheep - how sad is that! he's got this b team together with a plan which so far is to honk,  scream , be mad & ...more

Thought you sold your shares, fuzzy. Since you're still so passionately interested in Bioasis, why don't you go take a year or two to read and understand the 460 page Information Circular and then offer an informed opinion about it all. About revenge and all that stuff, BTI is at 4.5¢ and that's an "up" day. DrDR doesn't need any help from me to be in trouble ...more

He doesn't need to JD, he could flip a coin and would still be as accurate as you have been on the predictions. Heck, a $5 fortune teller would be more accurate than you :laugh Fuzz, non of what JD says matters, it's just noise. No one is following him, he just so happens to have changed sides. Unclepiecrusty says I have no impact. When I'm trying to understand something, when I spend time reading Bioasis and other documents, and I'm trying to understand what things mean, the last thing on my mind is impact, at least impact in some sort of self-aggrandizing way.   If you want to know what craving impact looks like, just recall the mindlessly repetitive posts from ...more

Thanks, OttawaPeter. I try to toy with them a bit. They're vulnerable to ridicule and they know it. A slight yank and they explode.   But there should be some compassion held for them. I think that a person who only has these means of expressing themselves must be living with some serious feelings of impotence and inferiority.    I'm serious about that. It's ...more

Excellent, unclepieface. We can see your effort to say the same thing as usual, but with a slightly different approach. We are encouraged by this spike in imagination. There can be a certain poetry in the venomous arts, although repetition should be kept under good regulation.. But still, there is a quality there, reminiscent, perhaps, of the rearrangement of the deck chairs on the Titanic, but ...more

Over the last few days I've had a number of shareholders tell me that the J&J/Janssen deal has been extended.  I think that extending the deal likely means that the two sides are ignoring the deadline and that Janssen's option on the drug/disease combination is still alive and well. Until the option is exercised, I very much doubt that Janssen is able to move beyond the work ...more
