A friend is needed...

Midatech, LT, and the placees want xB3. That's a given. That's what the late Midatech "merger" was all about.

And the Lind loans guaranteed that Bioasis could be forced to sell for almost nothing to the people who just bought Midatech for almost nothing.

The xB3 patents can continue to produce patent-protected drugs for another 35 years, give or take. The underlying xB3 patents do not have 20 years of protection remaining but, because it's a platform, any new xB3-drug patent application filed, even on the expiration day of the peptide's underlying patent, would enjoy new patent protection. That's why I have written for years that Bioasis's patent protection window is essentially 40 years, because every new payload that xB3 is attached to becomes a New Chemical Entity and would enjoy its own new unique patent.

So if xB3 works as hoped, imagine the value of those 35 years of patent protections.

So why is it so hard to believe that xB3 is worth fighting for? LT and the placees have been fighting for it. That can be considered to be significant corroboration of the value of xB3. Look at the hoops they've been jumping through to get it.

Some of you, and I know who many of you are, ought to think about this. Bioasis and xB3 can be bought for next to nothing! Bioasis short to mid term independence can be assured for even less. Currently, you'll either lose xB3 outright or you'll get nothing for either xB3 or Bioasis.

Cut the damn cheque! You could have whatever you want. Shareholders will approve anything you want as long as it's better than what Rathjen and LT's placees would do, which is basically to take everything for almost nothing.

I don't understand the terrible indifference that I'm seeing. If you don't act, one day you may look back on this day, and rue it.

I know one thing, I most certainly have put up a good fight for these past 12 years. It has cost me so much. I think it's all coming to an end, and with great sadness I am moving on. But there is an opportunity here. It could disappear on any day between now and April 1 if Bioasis can't make that payment and must either act before then.or lose it all.

A friend is needed. I think it's worth your while to step in.

jd, respectfully,  you seem to be all over the place with this and that. Let's let the chips fall where they may and be done with it. There is no quick solution to be had here. G1945V

Lol. I'm not making predictions, G1945V. I'm asking questions and pointing out possibilities.  Just ignore my posts. Don't read them if they trouble you.  Maybe you should read all the other opinions, instead jd

jd, sorry to say, that there is no quick solution here. You have to agree with that. A friend with lots of cash is needed indeed, to save the day. G1945V

Bioasis stated they had enough money for March. A payment to Lind is due on April 1 or almost immediately after that. I'm pointing out the types of events that Bioasis's financial needs could trigger in relation to the events happening at Midatech. I suppose I could parse the words being used by both Bioasis and Midatech, and combine those parsings with Bioasis's needs and the timings ...more
