Consolidation

There's a chance for a consolidation of shares.  Is it good or bad for the shareholder?  It will probably give them more equity to continue exploration, but, is it the best approach for us the shareholder or for them (the management)?  Any input anyone?  Thanks in advance.

Fordtrucks we are not pulling your leg. The reverse split was mentioned in the letter from the president. It will be voted on during the annual shareholders meeting.  I received my shareholder package a few days ago.

The letter asks shareholders to "consider a capital consolidation of its issued 214 million shares based on the advice of our financial advisors that a consolidation will facilitate a significant equity raise in 2012 to fund the important continuation of exploration and developement at Homestake Ridge with specific emphasis upon the new discovery deposit at South Reef."   dl

They will consolidate the shares and start the dilution machine all over again.  Its a good deal for the company and bad for shareholders.  Many junior mining companies are good at bailing themselve out with this skeem.  Then they get on smartstox and preach about shareholder value. Bull!
