Blackwolf Copper and Gold Ltd. (TSXV: BWCG, OTC: BWCGF) recently announced a noteworthy gold discovery at its Harry Property, strategically situated in the Golden Triangle between the formerly operational Scottie Gold Mine and the historically significant Premier Gold Project.
The Swann Zone of the project has become the focal point of attention due to its elevated gold and silver grades and quartz-gold veins.
In the initial assays received by BWCG, two "bonanza grade" gold zones were identified within the same drill hole, registering at 312 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 101 g/t of silver over 1 meter. This discovery of high-grade Gold and Silver represents one of the most notable intercepts in the Golden Triangle in recent history.
The results also highlighted the presence of ultra-high-grade quartz-gold veins at the Swann Zone, signaling significant mining potential. This finding draws parallels with the successful Newmont Brucejack Mine, a prominent high-grade underground mining operation which was acquired by Newcrest for $2.7 Billion US.
With the potential to establish another high-grade underground mine in North America, the future appears promising for both BWCG and its shareholders.
