Victoria has killed heap leach in the Yukon for the near future. The environmentalists and no-growth folks will ride on this.

Banyan gold corp is very likely going to be the next producing mine in the Yukon. Over 7 million ounces.and growing. Great CEO in Tara Christie. extremely good working relationship with government and the indeginous people of Yukon. just sayin:) RJ

RJ:  Are you aware that John McConnell and Tara Christie are a husband and wife team?  Likely no coincidence that Christie has remained silent and reluctant to issue any press release whatsoever regarding the events with Victoria.  If you really believe in Banyan, then it's time for you to mortgage the house and load up at these prices.  For the rest of us, just sit back ...more

S.S yes I'm fully aware of the relationship. And of course Tara is conducting bus as usual. therr is no doubt that the spill./ incident at Victoria Gold is a downer for the Yukon. However this too will be resolved. no one in this economic environment can or will ignore the opportunity for Banyan Gold Corp. just sayin:) RJ

To quote an article in the Mining Journal:  " John McConnell and Tara Christie are the Yukon mining power couple. " As Big John falls so does Tara it is the nature of the beast.
