I think a lot of the investors saw the light and moved on.  Those left remind me of the followers of Jimmy Jones and Jonestown where they drank his cool aid and died. jmho so carry on if you're comfortable

I'll stay around as I've been involved in mining for decades and have seen various cases where nice properties have eventually been sold as significant profit.  I consider CAD a nice property.
