Prospective Value of Staniske Gas Field
I have given the RK and Staniske gas fields just a value of $3 million US.
Both have gas turbine power generating units valued at about $2 million US
This Transcarpathian basin located in Western Ukraine bordering Hungary, Slovakia and Romania is estimated to have 4 Tcf of natural gas which, to date, remains vastly underexplored with only approximately three percent of the region’s hydrocarbon potential discovered.
Cub Energy has a 100% working interest in two licences and a 50% working interest in the third licence for a total of 108,000 gross acres (net 70,500 acres).
This latter one was just sold.
But Staniske field is quite large.....31,000 acres..and quite prospective based on historical information .
Neither RK nor Staniske fields have been subject to modern development and production technologies nor any recent drilling.
Workovers keep the few wells producing minimal gas for sale or for the gas turbines.
But, my valuation of just $3 million now seems rediculously low.
So, has anyone have new information that would help ball park the value of the huge Staniske field..
