Let's all remember this!

GSLR council supports company planning graphite mine - The Review Newspaper

T
he council was behind Canada Carbon and spoke the truth.

“agricultural potential of the soils observed offers no possibility for cultivation or for permanent grazing and…forest inventory of the subject lands demonstrates that it does not have the production potential of a maple sugar bush.”

Things are starting to happen and neither Alex nor anyone else can stop this important project from moving forward.

Perhaps Alex should look in the mirror and do the right thing and get behind this project.

Excited for the future of our town!!!

You are absolutly right GSLR4CCB! Things are happening for the better. 1) Miller's assay results should be in before the end of the month which will be then submitted to the CPTAQ 2) We are finally seeing the commencement of small modular reactor designs which need our graphite 3) Possible ASTM review 4) Hopefully a meeting with Tom now that an agenda has been submitted If anyone has more ...more

Future generations will have lots of maple trees to tap once the mine concludes and the site is restored to better than what it is now. Happy to hear how you feel however I'd suggest keeping your identity anonymous. I've seen how terribly local people that are in favor of the project get treated by a select few. It was actually even worse than what Alex and crew claim the big bad company ...more

So because someone is excited for the Miller project, they would need to quit their job and run for council?  How do you know this persons isnt trying to convince council and the MRC to change their position?  Like I said, I emailed and called and I got radio silence. I have stopped doing that because I realize that Tom only answers calls that serves his interest.  Its an injustice ...more

If the project was so bad why the initial fraudulent letter from council to CPTAQ?

That's what mayor's do Alex.  They make decisions that would benefit their community.  Tom convinced the town that the mine was bad with lies, embellishments and fear.  It unfortunately worked.  Yet, I still can't get over the hypocracy here. If we were to go back to water mining, there has been absolutely no money spent on assessing any envornmental dangers of ...more

Interesting Saywell lost public trust because he made decisions without consulting them. I wonder what will happen with Tom when they figure out all his rhetoric was based on falsehoods fuelled by sellers remore. And being denied the land clearing contract, that had to sting. Can't wait for that day will be fun to watch. I guess the "many of his other problems related to ethics" will ...more

The lies established the box but the truth will set us free.  I am keeping my word when I say CCB is going to bust out of that box and hopefully when doing so, will expose Tom as the conniver that he is.

Believe what you want Alex but the smarter people know that's not the case. Tom submitted false documents and you will soon see that CPTAQ will change its stance.  If Tom wants to waste more taxpayers money on appealing, so be it but sooner or later he will be exposed.
