Mine operation

Does anybody know if this mine will actually start operating? Is there still a chain on the gate? I keep hearing about the multimillion dollar pile of ore in the yard but nothing has been done to sell it. Did BC Hydro ever plug in the new (used) transformer? This has been dragging on for years with environmental and First Nations red tape. Now more share dilution, what's the holdup now?

That is the million dollar question. For me this is speculation not an investment. A small portion of my portfolio, which will either go up a lot or down to zero. The ore pile gives it much better odds of being viable, but that's it. I like the mine and I like Ian, I have been in this a long-time, just waiting.

medford, The news release of October 21 should answer your question about the ore pile. Its my understanding the ore pile can be sold anytime. That would be selling as is. BHT had wanted to get the mill running to process it on our own. This would need the permit which we still do not have. News release on October 6 was the decision that the project was "Non- Reviewable". Thats a big ...more

We all know that the problem here is governmental. They prioritize the big projects and forget about the juniors who are working very hard to discover future mining projects. I believe that the management team is doing its best to get this project started. The key is patience here. I always say that money goes from the impatient to the patient.
