The History in Time

Prospecting for Rackla In Yukon was carried out in the fall of 2013 led to the discovery of base metal mineralization within a 600 m gossan zone, which defined the Discovery Zone (part of the larger Massive Sulphide zone). Chuck compared that to the neighboring ATAC Resources (ATC) trading around $2.80.
However, CD didn't move for a few years until 2018 after the 1 for 10 rollback of it's stock at post-consolidation $0.25, The stock subsequently shot up to the moon to as high as $7.00 after Canaccord completed a PP at $6.50 in 2019. CD quickly collapsed and plummeted back down to $0.25. What a round trip, eh??!!

As for ATC stock, it is trading around 10 cents from $2.80. So much for Yukon.

Some people - doing mental gymnastics - think CD is worth $500 million to over $1 billion in a takeover valued at $5 or higher.

People must be stupid not to buy up everything with the stock sitting at just 36 cents.

Btw, whatever happened to the Star of David gold mine that Chuck found in Yemen??

Why would Canaccord have paid that much in a PP?
Comment by Oregonduck on Aug 26, 2022 6:00pm
Canaccord only cared about making commissions and getting free finder's stock. In addition, out of the $10 million PP, $6 million were Charity shares. While CD got $10 million, those who bought the charity shares donated those shares to their charities for tax writeoffs. The charities wanted cash, they didn't want the damn shares and quickly dumped them at the market. The stock got hit and ...more

I don't see the point of comparing the Yukon to Yemen... pretty hard to take a mine to production during a 10 year Civil War/genocide. The simple guesting is, what is 3 to 4 million tonnes of zinc equivalent worth? Also does anyone know the average cost per pound or tonne to mine underground?? If zinc is 1.65 per pound or so what is the cost to get that out of the ground? 4,000,000 tonnes of ...more

Cost to get it out of the ground 14,552,999,999 lol!

Lmao, a dollar made is a dollar made. But in all seriousness, does anyone know what is the average all in cost per pound for a underground zinc mine?
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Aug 26, 2022 10:44pm
The average all in cost per pound for an underground mine is meaningless.  One might be .65 a pound one might be 1.65 so the average cost so the average cost is like 1.15 so the one at .65 is making a killing the one at 1.65 is actually losing money.....  They vary widely depending on so many factors not including such things a mettalurgy, location, widths, even weather.  You can ...more

I think it was designated as aUN historic site and exploration was stopped.

It was known as the Queen of Sheeba mine, seeing as she was the one that gifted King David with gold from her domain. It became a UNESCO historical  site. No mining allowed. Too bad.
