Vein width

Does anyone know a good width of vein for underground zinc/lead/Silver mining?

Thanks for posting the Lindin link.  Man they sure go deep and average less tha 8% Zink.  No wonder Chuck thinks this deposit is worth $50.00 + per share as he knows what he has and it huge potential.

Carter Ask yourself would you rather have a hole with 100m of 4% Zinc or a hole of 10m with 20% Zinc. It is a pretty simple answer the hole with 100m of 4% Zinc. This assumes all other things being equal. As for comparing Lundin mining 8% ore vs 15 to 20% for Cantex is simplistic and makes no sense. You are talking about a mine that is fully paid for and been in operation for 100 years. Remember ...more

If you want to see some good width holes look at another Yukon player Fireweed Metals. The have holes like 200 plus meters at over 4%. Others 100 meter at 8%. They also have narrow holes at 40% like cantex. It is trading at .55 area. If Cantex is worth $50 a share they are worth $200 lol. Needless to say the market is saying they aren't worth a buck combined lol. My answer to Massive as to him ...more

Gillie Hard to say given there are so many other factor. That said, you should have a good number of holes in the 25 to 50 m range If the average grade is high. I like seeing some 50 to 100 meters plus.
