Chuck was not able to get the Metalex access road approved to the U2 diamond project for bulk sampling. The 60 km ice road had been rejected by the Attawaspikat FN despite Chuck saying that he was optimistic and MTX securing $50 million from Dundee. The U2 claims are on Crown Land but it took the Ministry a few years to finally approve the permit. However, the FN has the final day in still rejecting it. This has dragged on for 2 decades.
