Nothing in the news release was all that interesting thus the push on the Germanium nonsense again.  Yes it is in tight supply and yes most production is in China but there is a very good reason for that.  World demand is negligable and while it is slated to rise over the next 10 years it is still negligable and costly to produce.

With  most production  in  China   no way  any   Canadian mine  could   compete   against   that.

The very fact, that China controls most production of these rare earth metals, any other available production is not competition, but can take advantage of the low available of supply and the high prices. Competition comes into play, when there is a surplus of production, which usually lowers the price also.
