Teck's Red Dog Mine in Alaska uses truck-and-loader system to transport its Zn/Pb concentrate to the Trail Smelter in BC for refining. There is no hope in Hell, the First Nation and the territorial Yukon Govt will approve an access road, Water Permit and construction of a tailings dam in the Alpine Slope where North Rackla is located on FNNND's pristine land. They have learned their hard lesson from Victoria Gold's dam disaster. Getting the billion-dollar financing is impossible to mine a mediocre deposit.

more misleading posts.... there is no tailings.. as the raw ore will be shipped to the plant. Making it very envorment friendly. Also this won't be open pit but a shaft type mine. You can say it's not thick... BUT is sure LONG and it's open ended on both ends... how long will it be?

The North Rackla site can only be accessed by helicopter from the Rackla Airstrip connecting from Mayo by fixed-wing aircraft. So, you think without an access road, the Co. will transport 10 mt or 20 mt or whatever amount of rocks to a smelter by air?? Also, don't be naive & be poorly informed, the ores have to be processed on site into concentrates to be transported out for refining. Read

No of course not Chad said it would be TRUCKED OUT. NO tailings. Your assuming there is no road deal ... But there could be a road deal. that is TBD. The ores don't have to be processed on site. it's all going to be trucked out.
